Reflecting on Chargers Week 1 Loss

Negative commentary.
4 Straight passes from the 4 with a minute on the clock? Really?
Giving up that much for Mathews was a mistake, rookie looked over his head. Fumble cost the team 7 points. AJ Smith hasn't a good draft since 06.
Sproles looked like a scared little puppy, he just had nothing this game.
Floyd isn't ready to be a #1, get Vincent Jackson back ASAP.
By not signing McNeill and Jackson long term, it looks like AJ won't get Rivers a ring just like LT. No moves have been made to say " Hey, this GM is going all out trying to win one"
Noise was a factor and so was the rain, but who's brilliant idea was it to start the game that late?
Mistakes, mistakes and some more mistakes, this team needs a real HC, you can't dig a hole for yourself like that against a mediocre team like the Chiefs.
I thought Cromartie and his school of missed tackles was traded a few months back? Sure looks like it didn't.
Where is Kassim Osgood when you need him? Scifres had 3 touchbacks, 2 more than he had ALL LAST SEASON.
Gates was double and triple teamed late in the game, a WR has to step up.
Mathews looked like LT last night, and by that I mean falling at the line of scrimmage.

Positive Commentary
Week 1, still 15 games left, but this was one they should have had.
Rivers looked pretty sharp despite the weather.
As I predicted, no Jackson just means more Gates.
Dombrowski preformed very well last night
Defense looks sharp, not too much of a concern.
AFC West is still terrible and the Chargers to lose

Suggestions for next week
More deep balls to Floyd
More Mike Tolbert
Better punt coverages, Scifres had 3 beauties last night that went into the endzone.
